St. Paul's Church
As a faith community in The Episcopal Church, St. Paul's is a welcoming of ALL our neighbors. As Episcopalians, we are followers of Jesus Christ and we believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are members of the Anglican Communion, which is the third-largest Christian denomination in the world. Our community was established in 1834 as the first Episcopal Church in the state of Indiana.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church welcomes all into fellowship; recognizing the dignity of every human being regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, economic status, race, or any other identifier.
ALL ARE ACCEPTED, WELCOME, AND LOVED HERE.
OUR MISSION
The community of St. Paul's Episcopal Church believe that we are called to restore people to unity with God and each other in Christ through our concern and support for the physical well-being and the personal and spiritual growth of ALL people, through the stewardship of our blessings, and through our loving acceptance of diversity of ALL of God's children.

Built of Stone
St. Paul’s - New Albany is the oldest Episcopal parish in the state of Indiana. As a testament of our resilience through the COVID-19 pandemic, we have maintained our average Sunday attendance (ASA) when counting members in the pews as well as those joining online. We are blessed by past parishioners who have offered large donations which we have invested. We are blessed to meet our annual budget with the generous pledges of our parishioners and the accrued interest on investments.
Full of Love
Our campus houses three distinct buildings which are used for a variety of purposes. Our gorgeous Sanctuary is used primarily for Sunday worship and other special services throughout the year. The beautiful stained glass windows and custom stations of the cross invite all to connect with God.
The Carriage House and the Parish House, are used as love letters to our community. The Carriage House holds our Shepherd’s Kitchen feeding ministry two nights a week, our Pet Food Pantry ministry once a month, and several regularly scheduled AA groups throughout the each week. We also provide rental space for interested parties at an affordable rate for other private events.
The Parish House holds our staff offices and provides great spaces for housing your business office or hosting events. This is offered at minimal costs to those in the community and can be used for retreats, recitals, art exhibits, office rental, or mutliple other options.
St. Paul's wishes to establish and maintain partnerships with individuals and organizations in the community, providing opportunities for connection and collaboration.
Accepting All
As mentioned previously, St. Paul's Church welcomes everyone into fellowship; we recognize and honor the dignity of every human being regardless of gender, ability, sexual orientation, economic status, race, or any other classification.
We are truly, Accepting of All.
