2023 lent/Easter services & Activities
Take a look at what's happening during Lent below. Lent is a penitential liturgical season within the church calendar that begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22nd and goes to Maundy Thursday, April 6th. This is always the 40 days leading up to Easter. It is a time of "self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, and self-denial; and by reading and meditating on God's holy Word” (BCP, p. 265).
